The 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship will be played in Finland, cities of Imatra and Lappeenranta in 17-27 April 2014.

The host cities Lappeenranta and Imatra are located in the South-East Finland in the shorelines of the Finland’s biggest lake, Lake Saimaa. Inspired by the great nature, the area is well known for outdoor recreation activities and indoor wellness treatments and spas.
 
The preliminary round will be played in two arenas with five teams in each group. The groups are

Game Schedule

Teams will play preliminary round games in respective venues, Group B (USA, FIN, SUI, CZE, DEN) in Lappeenranta and Group A (CAN, RUS, SWE, GER, SVK) in Imatra. The relegation round games will be played in Imatra.

The Quarter Final games will be played in both venues. If Finland is qualified for ¼ final round it will play the evening game in Lappeenranta. Semifinal games and both bronze medal and the golde medal game will be played in Lappeenranta.
